We are proud to announce we will be present in the upcoming 34th Edition of the European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ECCMID), from 27 to 30 of April in Barcelona, Spain. ECCMID is renowned as the premier gathering for professionals in the field of clinical microbiology, attracting a diverse array of researchers, practitioners, and industry leaders from across Europe and beyond. As the world’s leading company in rapid AST with its ultra-rapid 2h AST, we have shown in past editions our technology’s transformational technology. In this edition, we will showcase how this technology is now used in real hospitals, and how it impacts the life of real patients in Europe. We are eager to engage with fellow experts, share insights, and contribute to the ongoing dialogue surrounding microbiology research and innovation. Do not miss the opportunity to visit FASTinov at booth D39, where our growing team will be on hand to showcase our cutting-edge solutions and discuss how they can address the evolving needs of clinical microbiology laboratories. Learn from our team how hospitals in Europe are already using our technology to improve sepsis patient outcomes. Additionally, we invite you to explore our three latest posters, which highlight our groundbreaking R&D efforts, and further confirm FASTinov’s ability to consistently deliver same-shift AST results as seen in the 6 customer evaluations completed last year (some now in routine use served by local partner Quilaban), in Portugal: · A simple protocol for rapid bacterial identification by MALDI-TOF MS directly from positive blood cultures (P2005 – 27th April) · FASTinov ultrarapid AST directly from positive blood cultures: performance evaluation study in 6 Portuguese hospitals (P1629 – 29th April) · Carbapenemase detection by flow cytometry: a rapid and promising technology (P1775 – 29th April) #FASTinov #ultrarapid #AST #ECCMID

This was excellent Fastinov. I trust that many hospitals will now purchase the flowcytometer and the Fastbact products.
FASTinov and Quilaban Showcase Revolutionary Ultra Rapid Antimicrobial Susceptibility Test at the XIII Portuguese National Clinical Pathology Congress in Algarve FASTinov proudly announces its recent participation alongside Quilaban at the XIII edition of the esteemed Portuguese National Clinical Pathology Congress held in Almancil, Algarve. The congress, which convened renowned clinicians, researchers, and industry experts, provided an invaluable platform for FASTinov and Quilaban to showcase their groundbreaking ultra-rapid Antimicrobial Susceptibility Test (2-hour AST), which is poised to revolutionize diagnostic practices in bloodstream infections and sepsis. Having taken place from 7 to 9 March, the Clinical Pathology Congress served as an opportune moment for FASTinov to introduce its cutting-edge technology to an audience deeply invested in advancing diagnostic methodologies. As attendees explored the diverse array of exhibits and presentations, the joint presence of FASTinov and Quilaban at the congress stand underscored their shared commitment to combatting antimicrobial resistance and improving bloodstream infection and sepsis patient care across Portugal and beyond. During my career I have conducted many GCP audits and performed numerous training sessions on rules and regulations for clinical research. I have summarised the experiences in an autobiography. To make people curious about this information and to seduce them to buy the book I have started to translate the text into English. As a teaser I include chapter 9 about tips and tricks for Good Clinical Practices. The book in Dutch you can find at: https://lnkd.in/dr_4e4h8
